Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm is looking for an experienced AVP Sales in Ontario, Canada, to lead their sales team. This role focuses on coaching, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. Ideal candidates should have significant experience in enterprise software sales, especially in cybersecurity, and proven leadership in regional market development. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring onsite work three days a week.

Qualifications

  • Previous enterprise software sales leadership experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Sales leadership experience in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Prior proven regional build experience throughout Canada.
  • Proven leadership experience of high performing sales teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of selling to Enterprise clients.
  • Ability to travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high performing team through effective mentorship and guidance.
  • Drive overall regional business strategy including analyzing market opportunity.
  • Develop an annual sales plan in support of regional growth.
  • Leverage strategic partnerships to cultivate regional relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement on sales processes.
  • Motivate the team focused on increased revenue growth.
  • Attract top talent and build the sales organization.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts to senior management.
  • Be involved in the region's complex deals to negotiate and close.
  • Build strong internal collaborative relationships.
