Job description
Cheers to creating an incredible tomorrow!

At Molson Coors, we tackle big challenges and defy the status quo. With a proud legacy of excellence, an incredible portfolio of beer, seltzers, spirits, and non‑alcohol brands, and a bold vision for our future, we’re on the path to transforming the beverage industry. That requires remarkable individuals who are curious, tenacious, and never afraid to fail forward.

We seek, value and respect everyone’s unique perspectives and experiences, knowing that we are stronger together. We collaborate as a team and celebrate each other’s successes.

Here’s to crafting careers and creating new legacies.

Crafted Highlights:

The EHS Specialist will support and enhance Environment, Health & Safety programs across two operational sites – our Centre Toronto Distribution, along with our Creemore Springs Brewery / Distribution. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a culture of safety, and drives continuous improvement in EHS performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for EHS regulatory compliance, site‑specific inspections, incident management, training, contractor oversight, project support and data analysis.

This position reports to Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety Manager.

What You’ll Be Brewing:
  • Conduct EHS compliance inspections, including audits, safety talks, equipment checks (e.g., fire extinguishers, AEDs, first aid kits).

  • Respond to incidents, lead investigations, and manage employee safety concerns, including WSIB claims, return to work, and work refusals as needed.

  • Deliver EHS training, including new hire orientation, WHMIS, and ongoing education on policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Maintain and update training matrices.

  • Manage contractors and external service providers (e.g., drivers, carriers), including ISN compliance and support for project execution.

  • Perform risk assessments (e.g., JSAs) and support the implementation of new equipment or systems and collaborate with union representatives where applicable.

  • Oversee PPE and uniform ordering and distribution.

  • Regulatory Reporting – preparing and submitting reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., Ministry of Labour, Environment Canada), and serving as a point of contact during inspections or audits.

Key Ingredients:
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and ability to travel between Toronto and Creemore sites (minimum 3 days/week in Toronto, 2 days/week in Creemore)

  • Post‑secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing or distribution environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Ontario health & safety legislation and WSIB processes.

  • Experience with incident investigation, risk assessment, and contractor management.

  • Working knowledge of environmental regulations and health surveillance programs.

  • Proficiency in EHS management systems (e.g., GovernIT) and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, multi‑tasking and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience leading, managing and analyzing new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conducting job hazard and job safety analyses.

  • Ability to assess and propose solutions for hazard elimination and work practice improvements.

  • Ability to travel internationally – 5%

  • Unionized experience would be considered an asset.

  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.

  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.

  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments.

  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow.

  • You exhibit our core values.

Beverage Bonuses:
  • We care about our People and Planet and have challenged ourselves with stretch goals around our key priorities.

  • We care about our communities, and play our part to make a difference – from charitable donations to hitting the streets together to build parks, giving back to the community is part of our culture and who we are.

  • Engagement with a variety of Business Resource Groups, which can provide volunteer opportunities, leadership experience, and networking through the organization.

  • Ability to grow and develop your career centered around our First Choice Learning opportunities.

  • Participation in our Total Rewards program with a competitive base salary, incentive plans, parental leave, health, dental, vision, retirement plan options with incredible employer match, generous paid time off plans, an engaging Wellness Program, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with amazing resources.
