As a member of our mechanical engineering team, you’ll assist with studies related to major projects in the mining, energy and heavy industry sectors. You’ll help design and develop those studies and, in some cases, provide detailed engineering during project implementation. Depending on your assignments, you’ll primarily play a technical role. You may also be asked to provide remote support to our regional offices in Labrador, Saguenay and Sept-Îles, especially for asset maintenance projects in the mining sector. You’ll be based at our Québec City office, but you may be required to take short trips to our other offices in Eastern Canada.

With us, you’ll get the opportunity to participate in design project studies and detailed engineering assignments, draft technical reports, design plans and specifications, perform design calculations, coordinate the work of designers and other team members, assign tasks to less experienced engineers and review their work, make technical choices on designs, ensure compliance with budgets and schedules, participate in site surveys, help draft proposals, and identify business needs.

• University degree in mechanical engineering
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
• Two to five years of experience as a mechanical engineer
• Available for short-term work assignments outside the office
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Asset: experience in the mining sector
• Asset: ASP Construction card
