EMT/Paramedical Specialist — On-Call Emergency Care
Job summary
A leading healthcare organization in Fort Nelson, Canada, seeks a Paramedical professional to operate emergency vehicles and provide critical medical care. Candidates must possess a diploma in paramedical science and relevant certifications, including NREMT. The role requires excellent fitness and knowledge of emergency medical procedures. This is a permanent position, with varying hours. Salary ranges from CAD 30.61 to 40.43 per hour.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in paramedical science is required.
- NREMT certification and registration with the relevant Health Professions Council are mandatory.
- Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, and medications used onsite.
Responsibilities
- Operating an ambulance or other emergency vehicles.
- Responding to calls for help and radio transmissions.
- Providing emergency medical care including medication administration.
