Qualifications

• Previous kitchen services experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Able to lift, push and pull heavy objects of up to 50 kg repeatedly.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and be exposed to heat, chemicals, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload dishes, glassware, and cutlery into cleaning machines.
• Maintain back of house areas including storage rooms and kitchens.
• Steam clean and scrub tile surfaces and floors.
• Pick up and wheel garbage pails from back of house to compactors.
• Load and compact cardboard and garbage into compactors.

Key Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads dishes, glassware and cutlery into our top-quality cleaning machines/equipment and store clean dishes.
• Maintains back of house areas including storage rooms, kitchens, utilities, halls and bars.
• Removes food from dishes and place dirty dishes on conveyor belt.
• Steam clean and scrub tile surfaces, floors.
• Picks up and wheels garbage pails from back of house areas to compactors
• Loads and compacts cardboard, tin and garbage into compactors

What You Bring

• Previous kitchen services experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment/chemicals is preferred, but not essential.
• Able to lift, push and pull heavy objects of up to 50 kg repeatedly during the course of a shift.
• Able to constantly stand, walk, bend, twist and be exposed to heat, chemicals, noise, steam, odors and slippery floors.
