A rapidly expanding multi-entity organization (a group of 4 companies) is seeking an experienced CPA or Accounting Firm for a part-time, senior financial partnership. We require an expert in multi-company compliance and strategic financial planning to act as our Accountant and eventually our Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

IMPORTANT: This is NOT a full-time position. We seek high-level expertise on a limited, strategic scope (as detailed in Phase 2).

Phase 1: Compliance & Core Accounting Management (ON-PREMISE MANDATE)

ALL bookkeeping and T2 filing work listed below MUST be completed on-premise at our office location. Quote your fees separately for this required compliance workload.

Corporate Tax Filing (T2): T2 Tax Filing for 4 Companies

Preparation and electronic filing of all four T2 Corporate Income Tax Returns. Must manage intercompany transactions and full compliance for the entire company group.

Full-cycle monthly bookkeeping, including reconciliation of bank/credit card accounts, general ledger maintenance, and all related activities completed on-site.

Full-cycle year-end bookkeeping and preparation of all necessary financial documentation for filing, completed on-site.

Phase 2: Strategic Financial Planning (Fractional CFO Advisory)

This is a high-impact, strategic advisory role. This work can be completed remotely, with in-person management discussions/presentations.

Estimated Time Commitment for Strategic Services: 60–80 hours per year.

Fractional CFO Leadership: Act as a fractional CFO to provide high-level, strategic financial guidance to the executive team.

Proactive Strategy: Bring up any potential tax planning, continuity planning, and corporate structuring opportunities proactively.

Long-Term Financial Management: Assist in overall financial management to achieve the company's long-term goals.

Tax Review & Optimization: Review potential tax planning strategies across all 4 companies for legal optimization and structuring benefits.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Monthly/Quarterly development of budgets and financial forecasts; oversight of financial reporting and analysis (including industry-relevant KPIs).

Cash Flow & Funding Strategy: Comprehensive cash flow planning; identify, review and advise on funding opportunities (grants, loans, etc.).

Growth Strategy: Assist in identifying and evaluating high-impact initiatives, including potential acquisitions or business expansions.

Advisory Services: Consulting and providing timely advice regarding complex accounting, taxation, business continuity and estate planning matters as needed.

We require a partner with proven expertise in multi-entity accounting and strategic finance who can adhere to the on-premise mandate for core compliance work.
