Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with the Power & Associates, CPA in their search for a full-time permanent, Senior Staff Accountant (Audit).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct year-end financial statement files including audit, review and compilation engagements;
2. Corporate / Personal / Trust tax returns;
3. Client tax compliance matters for income tax, payroll and HST;
4. Other accounting related duties as required;
5. Apply knowledge of various accounting standards;

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in public accounting;
2. Experience with accounting and tax software including Simply Accounting, Caseware, and Profile;
3. Efficiency, willingness to learn and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines;
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
5. A positive attitude with effective communication skills;
6. Accounting designation considered an asset;
7. Business degree or equivalent experience;
8. CPA designation;
9. Experience preparing year-end compilation and review engagements;
10. Bookkeeping experience considered an asset.
