Our Hubs are a crucial part of how we innovate, improving performance across every Sanofi department and providing a springboard for the amazing work we do. Build a career and you can be part of transforming our business while helping to change millions of lives. Ready?

As one of Canada’s leading investors in life sciences, manufacturing and research and development, we focus on delivering new and better ways to address unmet medical needs. Our life-changing and lifesaving products are grounded in science that Canadians can trust. They empower self‑care, prevent and treat disease, and help people live better.

Our vision for digital, data analytics and AI

Sanofi has embarked on a vast and ambitious digital transformation program. A cornerstone of this roadmap is the acceleration of its data transformation and the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions. This has enabled us to accelerate R&D, improve manufacturing and commercial performance, and bring novel drugs and vaccines to patients faster, all in order to improve health and save lives.

The Digital Team at Sanofi is a unique data‑driven team. We pride ourselves on being data obsessed and highly focused on using state of the art processes along with global technologies to drive impact to our solutions. We measure our insights and products based on how they perform across the globe and hold ourselves to the highest regard as our solutions can impact millions of lives. When tackling a problem, we do not just ask how we will create a solution, but how we will create a solution that reaches across the world with the best possible societal outcome.

If you are passionate about improving the health and wellness of people across the globe using Data as your means, then you should look no farther than the Digital Team here at Sanofi. Join us on our journey in enabling Sanofi’s Digital Transformation through becoming an AI first organization.

  • AI Factory - Versatile Teams Operating in Cross Functional Pods: Utilizing digital and data resources to develop AI products, bringing data management, AI and product development skills to products, programs and projects to create an agile, fulfilling and meaningful work environment.
  • Leading Edge Tech Stack: Experience building products that will be deployed globally on a leading‑edge tech stack.
  • World Class Mentorship and Training: Working with renowned, published leaders and academics in machine learning to further develop your skillsets.
  • You’ll join as one of four role types in the Sanofi Data and AI Future Catalyst Program - a 2‑year program that will provide you with an unparalleled opportunity to try different projects and learn about our different pharmaceutical business domains. This opportunity will allow for personal and professional growth, as no two experiences will be alike and you’ll have the opportunity to carve your own path. You’ll work with multi‑faceted teams to design and build AI products, create cutting‑edge, scalable platforms, and enable Sanofi to make the best value of data, transforming people’s lives in 90+ countries around the globe. Whatever projects you’re working on, you’ll learn from world‑class leaders who come from industry and academia backgrounds, pushing you to stretch your goals and achieve your best.

As a member of Sanofi’s Global AI Centre of Excellence in Toronto, you will be working on a team that is globally diverse, with members here in Toronto as well as across our global hubs in France, Spain and USA. You’ll be engaged in a structured program that is focused on driving the growth of your technical knowledge and business acumen. Based on your skills and background, you’ll be aligned to one of Sanofi’s five core data and AI functions to deliver on meaningful strategic initiatives - whether that be in data science, data and business analysis, data and ML engineering, software engineering, or data and AI strategy. This approach ensures that you specialize in your area of interest, while being engaged as part of a larger cohort of colleagues to collectively build core skills in strategic problem‑solving, product design, agile ways of working, and leadership. Upon completion of the two years, you’ll be provided the opportunity to a preferred position, responding to Sanofi’s business needs.

Data and AI Engineer – AI Workflows Focus

As a Data and AI Engineer within the Data and AI Future Catalyst Program, you’ll have the opportunity to work specifically on AI Workflow initiatives that are transforming how Sanofi modernizes core business processes through workflow automation and AI. You’ll be part of the AI Workflow Accelerator program, working to simplify, rationalize, and augment strategic processes using digital and AI technologies.

Your focus will be on initiatives to reimagine and redesign core business processes using AI.

You’ll collaborate directly with Global Business Process Owners (GBPOs) to redesign processes using a zero‑based approach, creating modern, future‑facing capabilities. Your work will involve building consumer‑grade interfaces that are intuitive for all users, developing omnichannel experiences, and creating modular agentic AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing data foundations.

This role offers the unique opportunity to work on process modernization at scale, building AI‑first processes where AI agents execute workflows with appropriate human oversight, and contributing to Sanofi’s vision of becoming a truly AI‑enabled enterprise.
