Site Description: Halifax Stanfield is Atlantic Canada’s principal full-service airport providing passengers and cargo clients with direct access to markets across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean Basin, Europe, and Asia. Halifax Stanfield offers Canada Customs services on a 24-hour, seven day a week basis, and it’s the only airport in Atlantic Canada with U.S. preclearance and International to Domestic processing facilities.

Position Details:

• Position: Airport Pass Control Administrator
• Site: Halifax Airport (HIAA)
• Overtime: Overtime after 48 hours
• Hours: Monday‑Friday between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. (8‑hour shift)
• Payrate: $25.80

Key Responsibilities:

A Pass Control Office Administrator is responsible for the security and administrative duties of the Airport Pass Control Office. Duties include RAIC application reviews, pass control, fingerprinting, and providing customer service to the public and airport community. The Pass Control Office also provides administrative assistance to the Security Office Assistant with baggage storage, lost and found, key control, and visitor pass sign out.

We are seeking experienced security professionals looking to build a full‑time career in Aviation Security.

Positions Require:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Administrative training or equivalent experience.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to pass a security clearance and hold a RAIC.
• Ability to pass a security clearance through the NS Department Of Justice.
• Additional online courses as required.
• Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school diploma.
• Must have reliable transportation to the airport.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid First Aid & CPR/AED certificate (Online First Aid/CPR certificate not accepted).
