A major energy provider in Moncton, New Brunswick, seeks a Gas Technician III for the operation and maintenance of gas distribution systems. Responsibilities include emergency response, meter work, and appliance inspections. Candidates should have 5-10 years of industrial gas experience and hold a valid G1 and G2 license. This role performs the operation and maintenance of the gas distribution systems. More specifically the role is responsible for measurement, conditioning and control activities for meter and regulating stations on transmission and distribution systems and facilities with super atmospheric pressure, as applicable (e.g., installation and maintenance of distribution system pressure control equipment and metering stations). All work to be performed in accordance with company regulatory and safety procedures.
Plumbing, Refrigeration or HVAC journeyman with G1/G2 license or the G2 upgrade are encouraged to apply. Experience in the commercial market is an asset.
