Qualifications

SUMMARY

We are looking to hire a Chiller Technician to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Experience in on-demand service calls on commercial, industrial and institutional chiller equipment specializing in Chillers and Cooling Towers
  • Able to perform planned maintenance on centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, and scroll compressors; with York, Daikin, Trane, Carrier, Smardt, Arctic Cool, Tandem, and Multistack chillers.
  • Experience conducting or assisting overhauls on chillers, troubleshooting, and diagnosing repairs needed.
  • Remains current with new technology and ability to adapt
  • Read, interpret, create and maintain drawings and specifications.
  • Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.
  • Overhaul and service air conditioning, heating units and systems.
  • Repair, replace and adjust worn or broken components on HVAC equipment
  • Repair and adjust refrigeration valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Install motors, thermostats, humidistats and other HVAC components
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
  • Other duties as required
