A leading financial services provider located in Montreal is looking for a Manager of Observability to enhance the enterprise observability platform. The role entails overseeing logging, metrics, tracing, and analytics while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure strong governance and compliance. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in observability tooling, a track record of leading platform teams, and must be bilingual in French and English. The Manager, Observability leads the enterprise observability platform, spanning logging, metrics/telemetry, tracing, topology, and analytics. They empower Tech and Lab teams to monitor effectively, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, self service, and strong governance. The manager also collaborates closely with SRE leadership to broaden coverage and capabilities while consistently upholding standards and compliance.
