  • Nursing work experience to include: Experience in working with older adults with complex health needs; and experience or orientation in in-home support and multi-level / complex care.
  • Key Skills and Attributes: Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of instruction, ongoing professional development and continuous improvement; interest in pedagogical and multi-modal education approaches; advanced oral and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation; ability to motivate and inspire students; high standards of behaviour and a professional attitude; ability to work cooperatively with other instructors and staff; ability to respond to the needs, feelings, and capabilities of students, provide feedback, and treat students equitably; other faculty qualifications may be considered for the Interpersonal Communications course (e.g., an undergraduate degree in a Health or Human Services field).
