The Faculty of Science, a non‑departmental unit, emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration across mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, and forensics.
• Develop a successful and innovative externally funded research programme, assessed by peer‑reviewed publications, graduate student training, and academic‑industrial collaborations. • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, contribute to curriculum development, and explore pedagogical applications of technology in Computer Science education. • Work under a 40% Research, 40% Teaching, 20% Service workload distribution each year.
• PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field (or near completion). • Demonstrated expertise, preferably in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). • Strong record of research excellence, potential for effectiveness in teaching, and excellent English language skills. • Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, with a particular focus on encouraging applications from women, Indigenous peoples, and other under‑represented groups.
