In the role of Finance Controller – Non‑Alc, working in Toronto, ON, you will be part of the Canadian Commercial Finance team. This role has controlling, governance, and process responsibilities for the Non‑Alc and consolidated financial statements. As a leader within the Non‑Alc, this role will work with various teams within Non‑Alc as well as Corporate Finance, Supply Chain Finance and Tax, US based non‑alc teams, as well Molson’s shared services teams.

This role reports to the Director Finance, Commercial Finance.

What you’ll be brewing:
  • Oversee all financial operations for the Non‑Alc business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity across financial reporting
  • Serve as the technical accounting lead for Non‑Alc, including interpretation of accounting guidance and assessment of new accounting standards
  • Lead the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial results
  • Own end‑to‑end Treasury, Order‑to‑Cash, and Procure‑to‑Pay processes, including associated master data governance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and internal controls to ensure a strong control environment, including SOX compliance
  • Manage the trial balance load from NetSuite into SAP and ensure proper financial governance and data integrity
  • Support Commercial and Supply Chain Non‑Alc teams with reporting, governance, controls, and process oversight
  • Identify, recommend, and lead process improvements and efficiencies across the Non‑Alc entity, including alignment with the US Non‑Alc team
  • Lead Non‑Alc G&A reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, delivering timely insights to business partners
  • Provide financial leadership and support for ad‑hoc projects, acquisitions, integrations, and system implementations
  • Foster a high‑performance culture by collaborating closely with the Finance Manager FP&A and indirect shared‑services team members
  • You have a university degree or equivalent experience (4+ years) and at least 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • You have solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls with (or working towards) a financial designation
  • You have strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (SAP preferred)
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $88,200.00 - $115,700.00 (posting salary range) + 11% target short‑term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
