TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) Finance is a high-performing and collaborative team that leads management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and multi-year financial planning for TELUS' Business Customers. Our team drives meaningful change and fuels positive growth across the organization, and we value innovative ideas and creative problem-solving.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll be an integral part of the Finance FP&A team, supporting Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold for our largest customers and other critical areas of the business. At the core of this role is your ability to communicate effectively—transforming in-depth financial analysis into clear, actionable insights that stakeholders understand and trust.

As a trusted advisor, you'll demonstrate confidence when interfacing with managers at all levels, partnering closely with business leaders on key strategic processes to drive informed decision-making and deliver measurable impact.

What you’ll do

Lead and coordinate financial reporting and planning processes including variance analysis, monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic planning requirements

Review large contracts and recommend appropriate accounting treatments to ensure IFRS compliance

Support month-end closing activities including journal entries for Revenue/Cost of Goods Sold and account reconciliations

Conduct detailed variance analysis to understand key performance drivers versus budget, forecast, and prior periods

Build and maintain financial models and dashboards that provide insight into gross margin performance and trends

Facilitate monthly risk and opportunity assessments to support informed business decisions

Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare executive-level reports and presentations that enable decision-making

Contribute to ad hoc projects, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives as needed

Qualifications

What you bring

5+ years of relevant analytical experience in finance/accounting

Strong knowledge of accounting (IFRS) standards with expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis

Collaborative approach with proven success building effective partnerships across diverse teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership

Responsive and adaptable professional who consistently delivers quality results

Creative problem-solver who develops thoughtful solutions and takes responsibility for outcomes

Proactive planner who understands complex tasks, sets clear goals, and anticipates challenges

Proficient with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills

Experience with SAP, Hyperion and Google Workspace

Great to haves

Business, Finance or Accounting related university bachelor’s degree

Accounting Designation (CPA – CA/CMA/CGA)

Salary Range: $90,000-$134,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
