Brandt is currently seeking a PTD Sales Manager for our Winnipeg, MB Construction & Forestry location. This position is responsible for managing the sales team of the most innovative Construction, Survey, Engineering / GIS, and Agricultural Positioning Technologies, aiming to achieve sales growth and profitability of the Position Technology division in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and develop all employees in the Positioning Technology Division to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.
- Achieve asset management goals related to turn and aging, as well as protection of company assets, including new and used Positioning Technology inventory.
- Provide input on inventory requirements to meet market penetration goals.
- Achieve market penetration goals as set by the company.
- Develop new business opportunities for the Positioning Technology division.
- Provide feedback and insights into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
- Assist in managing account receivables in collaboration with the Director of Credit Services and VP of Operations.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of GPS, networks, total stations, mapping, elevation and leveling, engineering, surveying, and/or geomatics is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Highly effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills are required.
- Ability to prepare presentations and conduct meetings for customers and business units.
- Knowledge of financial management, technology management, and internal controls is considered an asset.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible management experience.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven success in leadership and mentorship roles.
- Knowledge of GPS, networks, total stations, mapping, elevation and leveling, engineering, surveying, and/or geomatics is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are required.
