We are hiring Mobile Security Guards in the Toronto area. Candidates should have a clean driver’s abstract, strong knowledge of Toronto routes, and enjoy working long shifts across various sites, including cemeteries. Excellent customer service skills and incident response experience are essential. Shifts include days, afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Position Overview

Wages: $19.32/hr

Location: Toronto, ON

Shift timings: All shifts (12 hours), including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends. No 8-hour shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alarms, security breaches, property damage, and trespassers at various sites including banks, tech centers, and cemeteries.
• Perform safety checks and vehicle maintenance.
• Log arrivals, departures, and other data promptly.
• De-escalate situations involving vagrants and deter trespassers.
• Patrol assigned areas as needed in marked vehicles.
• Respond to emergencies and resolve them promptly.
• Escalate incidents to law enforcement when necessary.
• Identify and report security risks or hazards.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates
• G2 Driver’s License with a 5-year clean abstract
• Preferably 1 year of mobile security experience
• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response
• Ability to drive in all weather and times, including overnight
• De-escalation skills and law enforcement involvement when needed
• Strong knowledge of Toronto streets and routes, including navigation skills with Google or Apple Maps
