Contract End – April 30, 2027

What is the Ooks Life Team?

Every year, NAITSA hires a team of student leaders to help plan and promote events and initiatives for their fellow NAIT students. The Ooks Life Team (OLT) works together to create memorable experiences and a strong sense of campus community.

There are several positions on the Ooks Life Team—ranging from Clubs Events and Clubs Finance to Promotions, Volunteer, and Events Coordinators. Each has unique responsibilities, but everyone collaborates to bring campus life to the next level.

Note: Interested in more than one OLT position? Please submit a separate application for each.

Position Summary

As a Campus Clubs Finance Coordinator, you’ll be the main point of contact for club leaders seeking peer‑to‑peer support with their financial processes. You’ll help clubs navigate purchases, grants, reimbursements, and other transactions while fostering positive relationships between NAITSA and the student clubs community.

  • Positing on the Ooks Life App during event shifts and support shifts
  • Support additional sub‑committee initiatives or special projects as needed

  • Provide peer‑to‑peer support (in‑person or virtual) to guide club leaders through financial procedures such as purchase requests, grant applications, reimbursements, and deposits (Kickstart, Eventbrite, Square, etc.)
  • Mentor club executives through the Ookslife.ca Club Training Paths focused on financial processes
  • Attend club events when required to offer on‑site support and help clubs use tools like the Event Check‑In App and Square payment systems
  • Co‑lead workshops to improve financial literacy among club leaders
