Essential Functions
  • Investigate incident tickets, problems, and change requests;
  • Recommend business best practices, propose value‑added solutions through contextual analysis, and advise internal clients on selecting appropriate solutions;
  • Gather business, functional, and non‑functional requirements and propose suitable solutions;
  • Participate in planning and effort estimation for activities and deliverables;
  • Actively contribute to workshops for solution design;
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and document development/configuration specifications;
  • Configure the system for the requested modules: OM (Organizational Management), PA (Personnel Administration), TM (Time Management – TIMEEVAL, including schema), and PY (Payroll – Gross, including schema);
  • Document system configuration;
  • Contribute to solution validation documentation (integration testing) and document all prerequisite tests for solution deployment;
  • Identify and write test cases with the internal client;
  • Execute and document tests with the internal client;

Most changes will be implemented in SAP HCM ECC6. The various updates will address multiple topics, primarily within HR‑PT‑PY, including:

  • Requests related to collective agreements (renewals/upcoming changes);
  • Bonuses, contingents, and employee benefits;
  • Cat2 validations in user exits;
  • Rules and calculations for quota banks;
  • Modifications to PT schemas and PCRs (PY experience is an asset);
  • Maintenance of calendars and various system parameters;
  • Creation of LSMW or SECATT scripts.
Qualifications
  • College or university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience;
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in analyzing and configuring SAP HCM solutions on ECC6;
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with a minimum of three SAP HR modules: TM (TIMEEVAL version), CATS, PA, OM, PY;
  • Strong command of configuration in business‑related SAP modules, including schema modifications for Time Evaluation and Payroll;
  • SAP certification in at least one module is an asset;
  • Project participation and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an asset;
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and demonstrated leadership;
  • Ability to promote optimal solutions to complex problems;
  • Strong team spirit and client‑oriented mindset;
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Autonomous and detail‑oriented;
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Fluent in French (spoken and written) with good proficiency in English.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
