A global biotherapeutics leader is seeking a Sr. Manager for Policy, Advocacy & Government Affairs in São Paulo, Brazil. This role involves providing strategic guidance on government relations, managing key relationships with public authorities, and leading advocacy efforts to enhance access to therapies. Candidates should have a graduate degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience, alongside fluency in Portuguese and English. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, and a robust network in the healthcare policy sector.
Reporting to the Director of Policy, Advocacy & Government Affairs – LATAM, as the Sr. Manager, Policy, Advocacy & Government Affairs, you will provide strategic guidance and direction to the São Paulo affiliate's leadership team on government relations, policy, and advocacy, enabling them to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities for the business. You will lead discussions with officials at various levels of government and develop a long‑term positioning for the company with external stakeholders. You will be the company’s primary point of contact with government and public affairs stakeholders in Brazil, and serve as Corporate and External Affairs business partner for the commercial leadership for Brazil, under the supervision of the PAGA LATAM lead. You will be responsible for advancing and advising the company on the potential impact of policy developments on the company’s business, and for developing and leading the execution of CSL’s political external engagement and advocacy strategies to shape government policy, legislation, and / or regulations. You will be responsible for holding relationships and advancing collaborations with external stakeholders and patient advocacy groups. You will also align priorities and coordinate engagement with trade associations in Brazil. You will be expected to put patients and plasma donors at the forefront of our vision for delivering value to address unmet medical needs and have a track record on the highest compliant and ethical standards.
