• In proper alignment with CHS, provide guidance, strategic direction and oversight to Senior Management and Site Organizations on OS, IH & OMH corporate and local legal requirements to effectively manage safety and health occupational risks within LATAM operations.
• Establishes and support implementation of corporate OHS initiatives to facilitate a safe and healthy workplace for all collaborators and 3Ps in sites and for employees outside our locations.
• Continuously assess and review occupational risks and practices along LATAM in order to design and define local OHS strategies to reduce their impacts on employees and operations and further improve and strength OHS performance in the region.
• Lead / participate / collaborate on OHS forums and task forces to promote best practices, develop new programs and sponsor local implementation of OHS, Wellbeing, and IH initiatives by fostering collaborative efforts among communities members in LATAM and from other regions.
• In collaboration with CHS, drive design, exchange and roll out of training material and OHS tools, based on stakeholders needs and requirements to support local HSE processes consolidation.
• Foster cross functional projects and act as focal point with stakeholders from other expertise areas for joint development of high impact strategies and programs related to OHS, Wellbeing and IH.
• Lead communication and change management processes during implementation of OHS, Wellbeing and IH topics within LATAM.
• Promote use of consistent data from OHS reporting processes to build KPIs and perform trend analysis and by so, further enable informed decision making processes related to tackling basic rootcauses from accidents, illnesses and potential occurrences.

• Continuously promote competences and skills development within the LATAM HSE Community by leading exchange and collaboration environment and fostering innovation and digitalization.
• Periodically review performance and effectiveness of implementation of OHS, Wellbeing and IH programs within local HSE management processes framework in LATAM operations.
• Provide expert guidance for OHS, IH and PPS requirements implementation in investment projects in LATAM.
• Contribute to ensure OHS, Wellbeing and IH processes compliance by conducting HSE audits when required, for further identification of
• Safety and Health improvement opportunities in LATAM sites.
