1. Design, develop, and operate software solutions that empower millions of healthcare staff.
2. Work with the engineering team to conceptualize, create, and maintain state-of-the-art software solutions.
3. Collaborate with front-end and full-stack engineers, product designers, and product managers to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall product development process.
4. Write clean code that serves as an example to others.
5. Take a lead role in designing and implementing APIs, ensuring integration and communication between software components.
6. Drive continuous software improvement by proactively identifying areas for optimization and implementing effective upgrades.
7. Conduct software testing and code reviews to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and a good user experience across platforms.
8. Create technical documentation, providing insights into backend architecture, codebase, and usage methodologies (TDD).
9. Work autonomously within agile processes.
10. Set clear goals, prioritize tasks, and be accountable.
11. Show initiative and adaptability.
12. Deliver high-quality code on schedule.
13. Share your knowledge with other teams and participate in knowledge-sharing and demo sessions.

We expect you to...

1. Understand server-side development using Node.js and Nest.
2. Understand relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
3. Have knowledge of RESTful API design principles and security best practices.
4. Have experience writing unit and integration tests.
5. Have knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.
6. Be a good communicator, problem-solver, and collaborator.
7. Enjoy writing clean, well-structured, and efficient code following coding standards.
8. Be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.
9. Have a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement.
10. Possess a positive attitude, open-mindedness, and resilience.

1. 3-5 years of experience in backend development with proven expertise in backend technologies.
2. Strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
3. Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
4. Proven ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
5. Plus: prior exposure to working in a marketplace or platform-based business model.
