Job summary
A leading data solutions provider is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in clinical trial data and pharmaceutical environments. This remote position requires hands-on expertise in designing and maintaining data pipelines, integrating critical clinical systems, and supporting analytics in regulated environments. Candidates should have strong cloud skills, particularly in AWS, as well as a minimum of 5 years' experience in data engineering and specific familiarity with CTMS, EDC, and eTMF systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Data Engineer in pharma/clinical trials.
- Strong hands-on experience with CTMS, EDC, and eTMF.
- Proficient in AWS services like Glue, Airflow, Athena, and EMR.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain data pipelines for clinical trial data.
- Integrate data from CTMS, EDC, and eTMF systems.
- Support analytics and reporting in regulated (GxP) environments.

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with hands‑on experience in clinical trials and pharmaceutical data environments to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
This is a domain‑specific role — strong cloud skills are required, but clinical trial experience is mandatory.
- Designing and maintaining data pipelines for clinical trial data
- Integrating data from CTMS, EDC, and eTMF systems
- Supporting analytics and reporting in regulated (GxP) environments
- Collaborating with clinical operations, biostatistics, and IT teams
- âś… 5+ years as a Data Engineer
- âś… Experience in pharma / clinical trials (this is a must)
- ✅ Hands‑on with CTMS, EDC, eTMF
- âś… Strong AWS experience (Glue, Airflow, Athena, EMR)
- âś… Databricks / Spark , SQL, Python
- âś… Familiarity with CDISC / SDTM and regulated data standards
