Job summary

A leading contracting company in the UAE is seeking a skilled Draftsman to prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings, coordinate with teams to ensure adherence to project requirements, and modify designs as necessary. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in contracting firms in the UAE/GCC. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with knowledge of Revit considered an asset. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in contracting companies in the UAE/GCC.
• Currently residing in the UAE is mandatory.
• Proven experience in large-scale building or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with design and site teams for accurate reflections of design intent.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from consultants or construction teams.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations and company standards.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings for project closeout.
• Maintain organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings layouts sections and shop drawings in compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineering and site teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent and site conditions.
• Modify and revise drawings based on comments from consultants engineers or construction teams.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to local authority regulations project standards and company quality guidelines.
• Assist in preparing asbuilt drawings and documentation for project closeout.
• Maintain organized documentation and manage revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Qualifications
