Job summary
A technical services firm in Dubai seeks a skilled individual to prepare detailed engineering drawings and CAD models. The role involves collaboration with engineers and architects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining project documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D is required, alongside the ability to adapt designs based on client feedback. Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating detailed engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Experience with design collaboration and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects on design development.
- Generate 3D models and visualizations for projects.
- Update existing designs based on feedback and data.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Maintain documentation and bills of materials.
- Coordinate with construction teams for site accuracy.
Skills
- Technical Drawing Creation: Prepare accurate, detailed, and to-scale engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics for construction, manufacturing, or architectural projects using AutoCAD software.
- Design Development & Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and architects to translate conceptual ideas, rough sketches, and specifications into usable, detailed CAD models.
- 3D Modeling: Generate 3D surface or solid models, including walkthroughs or renderings to visualize potential projects.
- Modifications & Revisions: Update existing drawings, blueprints, and designs based on site survey data, client feedback, or design enhancements.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all drafted plans and schematics comply with industry regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Documentation & Bill of Materials: Create and maintain documentation, including parts lists, material lists, and cost estimates (Bill of Materials).
- Field Support & Coordination: Conduct site measurements, evaluate existing site conditions, and coordinate with construction teams to ensure accuracy.
- Software: Proficiency inAutoCAD 2D/3D
