QA/QC ENGINEER - MECHANICAL
Job summary
An oil and gas engineering firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer Mechanical to ensure compliance with quality standards for onshore projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the field, particularly in ADNOC projects. Responsibilities include overseeing engineering standards, reviewing technical deliverables, and managing vendor procurement packages. The role demands strong communication and coordination skills, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- Minimum 10 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer Mechanical in onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong background in the Engineering Phase: FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design.
- Mandatory ADNOC project experience with thorough knowledge of ADNOC specifications and standards.

- Oversee and ensure compliance with project quality standards during the engineering phase.
- Review and approve mechanical engineering deliverables in accordance with project specifications.
- Develop, review, and implement quality plans and procedures for engineering deliverables.
Skills
Education
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer Mechanical to join our engineering team for onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Engineering Phase (FEED Detailed Engineering Detailed Design) and a proven track record in quality assurance and quality control for vendor procurement packages. ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with project quality standards, specifications and client requirements during the engineering phase.
- Review and approve mechanical engineering deliverables – drawings, datasheets and technical documentation – in accordance with project specifications and ADNOC standards.
- Develop, review and implement quality plans, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and quality procedures for engineering deliverables and vendor packages.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement and vendor teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into vendor procurement packages.
- Conduct vendor document reviews, inspections and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) activities for mechanical equipment and packages.
- Interface with client representatives, third‑party inspectors and vendors to resolve quality‑related issues.
- Track and monitor NCRs (Non‑Conformance Reports) corrective actions and preventive actions throughout the engineering and procurement phases.
- Support internal and external audits in compliance with ADNOC quality requirements.
- Prepare quality‑related reports, status updates and KPI performance summaries for management and clients.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer Mechanical in onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong background in the Engineering Phase: FEED, Detailed Engineering and Detailed Design.
- Mandatory ADNOC project experience with thorough knowledge of ADNOC specifications and standards.
- Hands‑on experience with vendor procurement packages including review, inspection and FAT.
- Strong understanding of ASME, API and other international mechanical standards.
- Excellent communication, coordination and reporting skills.
