Description

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Purchaser with a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement specifically within the agricultural and industrial sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing a wide range of items including spare parts, agricultural equipment, agrochemicals and seeds ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate and select reliable suppliers for spare parts (pumps, construction materials, etc. and agricultural equipment).
• Manage procurement of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and related agricultural inputs.
• Source and purchase certified seeds such as maize, soybeans, sunflower and others based on seasonal requirements.
• Negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure best value.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in purchasing, preferably in agriculture or a related industry.
