Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer for onshore oil and gas projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering and at least 10 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer. Proven ADNOC project experience is mandatory. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with quality standards, reviewing engineering deliverables, and developing quality plans. Job description

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation to join our engineering team for onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Engineering Phase (FEED Detailed Engineering Detailed Design) and a proven track record in quality assurance and quality control for vendor procurement packages. ADNOC project experience is mandatory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure compliance with project quality standards specifications and client requirements during the engineering phase.
  • Review and approve E&I engineering deliverables drawings datasheets and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and ADNOC standards.
  • Develop review and implement quality plans ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and quality procedures for E&I deliverables and vendor packages.
  • Coordinate with engineering procurement and vendor teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into vendor procurement packages.
  • Conduct vendor document reviews inspections and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) activities for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Interface with client representatives third-party inspectors and vendors to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Monitor and manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) corrective actions and preventive actions throughout the engineering and procurement phases.
  • Support internal and external audits in compliance with ADNOC quality requirements.
  • Prepare quality-related reports status updates and KPI performance summaries for management and clients.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation in onshore oil and gas projects.
  • Strong background in Engineering Phase: FEED Detailed Engineering and Detailed Design.
  • Mandatory ADNOC project experience with thorough knowledge of ADNOC specifications and standards.
  • Hands‑on experience with vendor procurement packages including review inspection and FAT.
  • Strong understanding of IEC IEEE ISA and other relevant international E&I standards.
  • Excellent communication coordination and reporting skills.
