Due to a strong pipeline of projects, our Abu Dhabi team is expanding and we are seeking an experienced Senior ELV Design Engineer to undertake a variety of projects across the region.
In this role, you will work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team across a variety of infrastructure, buildings, transport, and other project types.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for all aspects of ELV design and delivery on assigned projects, ensuring quality standards are met and projects are completed on time.
2. Design all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including but not limited to Telecommunication, PAVA, AV Systems, Electronic Security Systems, and Structured Cabling System including Passive and Active components design from conceptual design phase to construction phase.
3. Produce compliant design with all local authorities (Etisalat, Du, ADMMC, SIRA, etc.).
4. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems into overall project designs.
5. Prepare detailed design drawings, block diagrams, specifications, and documentation for ELV systems.
6. Produce necessary ELV calculations including CCTV Field of View and Lens Calculation, Recording Time and Capacity Calculation, WiFi Heat maps, etc.
7. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and constraints.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
9. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
10. Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Brings over 8 years of experience in an international design firm specializing in ELV systems design with at least 5 years experience in the Middle East, preferably in the UAE.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
4. Strong knowledge of ELV systems including security systems, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, and building automation.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
