Job summary
A leading technology company in Dubai is looking for a Senior MS SQL & Oracle Database Administrator. This role involves managing, monitoring, and optimizing database environments while ensuring high availability and implementing robust backup strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MS SQL and Oracle databases, along with troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. This position requires participation in a 24/7 standby support rotation.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in managing MS SQL and Oracle database environments.
- Ability to implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with ASM RAC and cluster technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize production and disaster recovery database environments.
- Perform installations, configurations, and troubleshooting for SQL and Oracle databases.
- Ensure high database availability and participate in a standby/on-call support rotation.
