The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and supporting Oracle RAC clusters, performing backup and recovery operations, and optimizing complex SQL and PL/SQL code. Expertise in Data Guard for disaster recovery and strong documentation skills are essential for this role in Dubai, UAE.

Job Summary (List Format) Oracle Database Administrator

• Administer and manage Oracle 12c and 19c databases in large-scale production environments.
• Install configure and support Oracle RAC clusters Grid Infrastructure and ASM storage.
• Perform database backup and recovery operations using RMAN and Tivoli TSM.
• Set up maintain and troubleshoot Data Guard and Active Data Guard for disaster recovery.
• Manage database partitioning tablespaces indexing and materialized views.
• Monitor and tune database performance using AWR ASH OEM and other tools.
• Write optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL and PL/SQL code.
• Automate DBA tasks using shell scripting and manage scheduled jobs.
• Configure and administer Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for centralized monitoring.
• Clone databases and manage exports/imports for testing and development.
• Design and implement partitioning strategies and manage data lifecycle.
• Support GoldenGate replication and cross-platform database environments (SQL Server IBM DB2).
• Provide documentation communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities in a team or independently.
