We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various tests and analyses on construction materials and asphalt to ensure they meet industry standards and client specifications. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

• Conducting tests and analyses on construction materials and asphalt, including but not limited to, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt mix designs.
• Collecting and preparing samples for testing and analysis.
• Recording and interpreting test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Identifying and troubleshooting any issues with equipment or test results.
• Communicating test results to project managers and other team members.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all tests and analyses.
• Participating in the development of new testing methods and procedures.
• Assisting with other laboratory tasks and projects as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Lab Technician in a construction or asphalt work.
• Knowledge of construction materials and asphalt testing methods and procedures.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
