Role Purpose:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods across the supply chain—from suppliers to warehouses, and ultimately to retail outlets or customers. This role manages import/export documentation, coordinates with vendors and freight partners, and ensures timely and efficient delivery of shipments while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities:

• Shipment Coordination
• Coordinate cargo pick-up, loading, and tracking with suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Monitor shipment progress to ensure on-time delivery to designated warehouses.
• Liaise with transport providers for urgent or scheduled deliveries.
• Customs & Documentation
• Prepare and verify all required documentation for customs clearance. o Maintain accurate records for all import and export transactions.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and internal procedures
• Internal Communication & Support
• Share shipment status updates and documentation with Warehouse, Buying, Finance, and relevant internal departments.
• Report any discrepancies in goods received against purchase orders.
• Generate reports for container deliveries and provide regular status updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with logistics software is an advantage.
