Job Description

Company Overview

Vieco Pharmaceuticals is a pharmaceutical factory in JAFZA Dubai for the production of solid (Tablets and Capsules), Liquid (Syrups) and semi-solid (Ointments and Creams) pharmaceutical products.

Job Responsibilities

o Managing Project activities like Architectural, HVAC, Electro-Mechanical, in co-ordination with the consultants.

o Planning and timely execution of Preventive planned maintenance of process equipment (Plant and Machinery), Utilities systems and services along with ensuring that documentation is as per the cGMP norms and good engineering practices.

o Troubleshooting in operational area and ensure minimum breakdown downtime.

o Implementing the necessary automation for the processes and systems for smooth operations and maintenance.

o Responsible for providing necessary support to entire facility to produce consistent quality product.

o Responsible for planning and execution of in-house modifications, capital projects which includes installation, commissioning, and qualifications.

o Responsible for Administrative and disciplinary activities related to Engineering department.

o Responsible for engineering documents (like self-inspection, change control, deviations, incidents, Document Management system, Quality Risk Management, etc.…), Qualification & Validation activities of Pharma Equipment and engineering quality documents.

o Responsible for ensuring all annual maintenance contracts and all relevant licenses are in place and renewed in time.

o To ensure the required initial and continuing training program is carried out and adopted according to the department needs.

o Direct, train and develop personnel by providing a positive and safe work environment conducive to high employee morale, development and growth through employee involvement and natural teamwork.

o Responsible for reviewing and approving instruments calibration, equipment and systems qualification and validations activity and ensure the executions.

o Interacting with Pharmaceutical machinery suppliers for necessary support to engineering activities for trouble shooting and arranging the format parts, spares, and consumables to maintain inventory.

o Responsible for preparing and managing budget of engineering and projects.

Providing necessary support for the various regulatory and the customer audits and its compliances

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech

Must have 6 - 7 years of experience in UAE
