As an IT Technician, you will report to the IT Manager at your home site and will work closely with the business, colleagues, and remote support teams to implement and maintain infrastructure elements. You will represent IT to the business and thrive in providing world-class service to our customers.

Operations Fulfillment Centre and Logistics

The IT Operations team supports the IT infrastructure at Amazon sites and provides IT support to our customer base.

Putting customers first, you will provide first-level support to ensure all IT equipment and infrastructure operate optimally, meeting departmental KPIs and SLAs across your home and remote sites.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Health & Safety ownership and accountability, ensuring work complies with Amazon policies and standards.
• Installation, maintenance, and support of IT equipment.
• Asset and inventory management.
• Coordination with third-party vendors and suppliers for asset management.
• Communication of technical issues and standards with contractors or external suppliers.
• Maximizing IT equipment and infrastructure availability through ongoing improvements and preventative maintenance.
• Providing technical support for site and team projects.
• Conducting end-user equipment trials and testing.
• Assisting senior engineers as needed.
• Working in shifts, including weekends, and supporting occasional schedule changes.

Preferred certifications include: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Red Hat), Microsoft hardware installation, AWS, or other relevant industry certifications. Experience troubleshooting integrated computer systems is also required.
