Job Description
- Assist the Camp Boss in managing daily camp operations, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.
- Address guest inquiries and issues promptly, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Handle reservations and cancellations with precision, utilizing property management systems to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing personnel, including transportation and accommodation arrangements.
- Implement and monitor camp policies and procedures, ensuring adherence by all staff and guests.
- Act as a liaison between camp management and external stakeholders, addressing concerns and feedback effectively.
- Prepare detailed reports on camp operations and incidents, presenting findings to the Camp Boss for strategic decisions.
- Assist in emergency response planning and execution, ensuring readiness for unforeseen situations.
- Promote a culture of health and safety by conducting regular inspections and staff training to mitigate risks.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of a high school diploma; higher education in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in camp management or hospitality roles, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is essential; additional safety training is a plus.
- Experience in remote or offshore camp settings is highly valued to ensure familiarity with unique challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work long hours in varying outdoor conditions.
- A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset to address challenges swiftly and effectively.
