Job Summary

Our client is a biotechnology company headquartered in California, USA, providing rare disease therapies to patients in the United States and the Middle East. To support its continued expansion in the Middle East, the company is seeking a Korean General Manager to lead and oversee its Dubai office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute market strategies for rare disease therapies across the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
  • Oversee full P&L management of the Dubai office.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Logistics.
  • Develop strategies to enhance brand awareness and increase market share.
  • Identify new sales channels and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor competitive landscape by region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, government authorities, and distributors.
  • Manage key customers/partners and collaborate with Government Affairs.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly sales performance.
  • Manage and support the performance of the 8-member Dubai office team.
  • Strengthen team capabilities and lead recruitment when necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with headquarters and align major projects.
  • Understand Middle Eastern regulatory requirements and manage related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and internal company processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in international sales or Middle East regional markets.
  • Proficiency in Arabic (Korean required).
  • Experience in organizational operations and revenue management (P&L experience preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Strong proactiveness, drive, and execution capability inMENA marketing.
