• Engine Diagnostics and Repair: Identify and troubleshoot complex engine issues, perform repairs, and ensure engines are in optimal working condition. • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on engine systems, including oil changes, filter replacements, and performance checks. • Installation: Install new engine components and systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance. • Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their concerns, provide updates on repair status, and ensure customer satisfaction. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. • Diagnose engine problems using computerized diagnostic equipment and manual methods. • Disassemble engines and document each component removed. • Prepare part list after the dismantling and inspection of the engine • Clean and inspect engine components for wear or damage. • Experience using micrometres, callipers, and other tools. • Rebuild engines including reassembly of crankshafts, pistons, cylinder heads, camshafts, • timing systems, and related components.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of engine systems, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage workloads, and ensure high-quality service. • Customer Focus: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer needs promptly. • Attention to Detail: Precision in performing repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure engine safety and reliability. • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) are preferred. Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engine technician in the automotive industry. • Experience in leading and training a team of technicians. • Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of engine issues.
