Field Service Technician

Job Purpose
Successfully deliver and execute jobs such as preparation, installation, repair and maintenance of TechnipFMC equipment under field conditions in an international on‑shore/off‑shore environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute daily activities including preparations, installations, repairs and maintenance of TFMC products as instructed by superiors.
- Perform calculations and checks on and offshore such as: space outs, status of equipment, test pressures, etc.
- Work in a team as a professional service technician to install products and conduct repairs and/or maintenance of TFMC, and other brands of equipment and maintain assets of TFMC as per the Service.
Manual
- Ensure that all equipment, service tooling, backup and spare parts, etc. are on location and ready to use and fit for function prior to the start of each job.
- Ensure that the field service reports and other associated reports are completed with all required information, timing, part and serial numbers, type of equipment, issues faced, FNCR’s, etc.
- Maintain high‑level communication and daily contact with internal and external company representatives on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements and critical dimension measurements.
- Provide sales support through quality customer interface and handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Complete Field Non‑Conformance Reports (E‑FNCR) forms. Assure all equipment and procedural defects are communicated back to TFMC Service Coordinator.
- Proactively pursue safe work practices and comply with TechnipFMC Quality Management System requirements; ensure smooth operations with a high focus on QHSE and enforce adhesion to TFMC code of ethics.
Support a MOC
- Report from a project execution perspective to the Service Project Manager on a daily basis and inform him directly in case business‑critical decisions have to be made, operational, customer or personnel wise.
- Act as an ambassador and identify opportunities for TFMC.
- Constantly strive for improvement of safety, knowledge, professionalism and customer success.
Required Knowledge / Formal Education
- HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or time‑served apprenticeship preferably in a mechanical discipline.
- A formal technical and/or mechanical education (mechanic, hydraulics).
Required Experience
- Mechanical and/or hydraulic related experience.
- Capable of reading and understanding procedures and drawings.
- Understanding of safety in relation to working with pressurized equipment.
Required Certificate(s)
- A valid Health certificate for offshore work.
- Safety and Emergency Training.

- Willing and able to travel abroad with flexibility in terms of working times/periods and locations/countries.

Required Technical Skills and/or Problem‑Solving Skills
- Excellent in English language in writing and verbally.
- Computer skills: competent and familiar with MS Office applications and email package(s).
Required Job Knowledge
- Knowledge of Surface Wellhead equipment.
- Knowledge of surface operation.
