ITP Media Group is seeking a Video Editor (Pre and Post-Production) to support our luxury brands with premium platform‑native and socially distributed video. This is a group role with editing at its core: you will take projects from ingest to final delivery, create clean versions for every platform and uphold world‑class finishing standards. While occasional B‑cam/field support may arise, the focus is firmly on pre and post‑production (ideation, storyboarding, offline/online motion packaging, audio sweetening, versioning, QC and delivery).
1) End‑to‑End Post Workflow
- Own the post pipeline from ingest to archive: media wrangling, syncing, proxy creation, assembly/rough cuts, picture lock, conform/online and mastering.
- Use proxy workflows for speed then relink to camera originals for final export to preserve quality and metadata.
2) Editing Craft & Story
- Build tight narratives for editorial features cover stories fashion/beauty design interviews and branded content.
- Support commercial teams with storyboards, ideation examples and quick drafts for sales.
- Execute multi‑cam edits, speed‑ramping tasteful transitions and title/lower‑third systems that align with each brand’s visual language.
3) Motion Graphics & Packaging
- Design and maintain modular motion packages (opens lower thirds, supers, end slates, captions, templates) creating MOGRT/AE templates for repeatable use across brands.
- Collaborate with Art/Design to ensure motion matches typography, color and composition rules of each title.
4) Color Management & Finishing
- Perform base color balancing and look‑matching; prep conforms for advanced grading when required (e.g. Resolve).
- Apply modern color‑managed practices (e.g. ACES where appropriate) to ensure consistent cross‑platform output and future‑proven masters.
5) Audio Post & Loudness
- Dialogue cleanup, noise reduction, music editing, VO layback and basic mix.
- Deliver to recognized loudness practices (integrated LUFS and true‑peak) aligning with EBU R128 and ITU‑R BS.1770 measurement approaches.
6) Platform Mastering & Versioning
- Create aspect‑ratio and duration variants (16:9 long‑form; 9:16/1:1/4:5 social) with platform‑specific exports, thumbnails and captions.
- Follow current delivery guidance for YouTube (codec/frame‑rate/bandwidth), Instagram Reels (9:16; min 30fps) and TikTok (9:16 recommended).
7) Captions, Subtitles & Localization
- Create and manage captions/subtitles (e.g. SRT) and localized texted versions; ensure accuracy, timing and brand tone in English/Arabic where needed.
8) Review Cycles, Approvals & Client Service
- Run structured review cycles (cuts, notes, lock, finish) using collaborative tools for time‑coded feedback; present work to internal stakeholders and brand partners.
- Partner with the Head of Video Creative/Editorial and Brand Partnerships to deliver premium edits for commercial campaigns while protecting editorial integrity.
9) Media Management, DAM & Delivery
- Maintain meticulous project structures, naming and metadata; generate textless masters, clean versions and layered archives for re‑use.
- Deliver final packages per spec (master mezzanine, social derivatives, artwork, textless, caption files) and archive according to policy.
10) Occasional Field/Studio Support (as needed)
- Support shoots selectively (e.g. slate/logging media offload look tests) to ensure post‑friendly acquisition; primary remit remains editing.
Qualifications
- 5 years professional editing experience in premium media/agency environments with a reel spanning editorial and branded content.
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; strong After Effects for titles/graphics; working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve (color conforms) and Audition/Resolve Fairlight for audio.
- Solid understanding of codecs, color spaces and deliverables (ProRes/DNx/H.264/H.265; 24/25/30/50/60fps; 4:2:0 vs 4:2:2) proven proxy/relink workflows and collaborative review practices.
- Fluency in platform‑native outputs for YouTube/Instagram/TikTok including aspect ratios, durations and safe‑zone considerations.
- Detail‑obsessed with QC rights releases, music licensing and captioning best practices.
- Calm under pressure; excellent communication; able to juggle multiple brand stakeholders.
- Arabic/English bilingual a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- On‑time delivery rate and adherence to spec across brands/platforms.
- QC pass rate (audio loudness, color/levels, tech specs) and reduced re‑edit cycles.
- Throughput & efficiency (edits delivered turnaround time, effective reuse of templates/packages).
- Engagement uplift on video posts (completion VTR watch time) in partnership with Audience teams.
- Stakeholder satisfaction (editorial and commercial) on campaign and franchise deliverables.
- Archive health (naming, metadata re‑usability; successful relink/restore).
