My client is a well-reputed university within a specified geographical region, seeking a professional to lead careers and alumni activities in the region. The role involves engaging global students through one-to-one and group career workshops and events, collaborating with external markets to generate job opportunities, increasing local alumni engagement, affinity, and fundraising, and contributing to marketing, events, and special projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES OR DUTIES :
Work with the Centre Director and Careers and Alumni Relations Manager to implement strategies for the careers and alumni department, aligned with university post-graduation services.
Gather and report data for reports required by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, including user statistics, feedback, and recommendations.
Ensure data integrity by working closely with the central postgraduate careers service and alumni office to update and maintain student and alumni records.
Monitor the local and regional competitive landscape, building partnerships with business schools, societies, and associations beneficial to the university community.
Assist in initiating and managing corporate relations to generate business opportunities.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Officer and the Annual Fund Officer to guide marketing, communication, and fundraising activities locally.
Coordinate with the Postgraduate Careers Service team to ensure integrated services.
