Job Title -Senior Quality Assurance
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance professional to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software and systems within a trading and industrial solutions environment. This role involves leading testing efforts, defining quality standards, collaborating closely with development and business teams, and proactively identifying risks to maintain product excellence across the full software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Planning & Execution
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project objectives.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure testing coverage across applications, integrations, and business workflows.
Defect Management & Analysis
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and work with development teams to prevent recurrence.
- Validate fixes and ensure timely closure of issues.
Process & Standards Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SDLC processes, and testing best practices.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.
- Support audits and compliance requirements where applicable.
Automation & Tools
- Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
- Identify opportunities to expand test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Utilize test management and defect‑tracking tools effectively.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and project teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing
- Guide and support junior QA team members.
- Share best practices and promote a strong quality‑focused culture.
- Contribute to knowledge bases and test documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and testing techniques.
- Hands‑on experience with manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with test management and defect‑tracking tools.
- Experience testing APIs, integrations, and data‑driven systems is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
