Job Description

General Accounting:

• Oversee end-to-end general ledger accounting activities for multiple entities across different countries.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS and local statutory regulations.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform variance analysis and cost tracking across regions and business units.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with historical and trend data analysis.
• Present insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Audit & Compliance:

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
• Assist with tax filings, VAT compliance, and statutory reporting as required in each country.

Systems & Process Improvements:

• Work closely with regional finance teams and shared service centers.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and enhancement.
• Ensure smooth operation of ERP systems and lead finance process improvement initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable for advanced financial acumen.
• CPA certification is essential, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and expertise in accounting principles.
• A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant work experience in accounting, preferably within the finance sector or a multinational corporation.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial reports and statements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying issues and implementing effective solutions to enhance financial processes.
