Position : Assistant Buyer - Ladies Footwear
Location: Dubai
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN BUYING LADIES FOOTWEAR or NON APPAREL.
Description for Candidates
Assist the buyer/senior buyer in costing negotiation with suppliers and ensure margin targets are met.
Work with buyer/senior buyer to formulate clear strategy for season through in season and post season review analysis.
Assist buyer/senior buyer in creating seasonal range plan/buy plan.
Work closely with buyer and design team for product development
Support in product development with design, manage vendors- tech pack finalisation & supplier selections.
Work with buyer/senior buyer to finalise sample & ranges for laydown.
Communication with suppliers requirements, pricing, packaging and compliance
Work closely with merchandiser on approvals/ fits/ overall look of the garment, sample management, critical path management, vendors & logistics management
Seamless PLM management in terms of data entry, comments & price negotiation
Analyse weekly sales reports, product performance, stock availability, UDA analysis and highlight clear trade actions required.
Work with VM team on collection launches as well as with sourcing, quality and logistics team for effective product quality and order management
Market research track competition & inspiration brands regularly with buyer/senior buyer to spot opportunities and risks and suggest actions to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities.
Any other duties that maybe assigned by buyer/senior buyer /department head from time to time for smooth running of the department.
Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training - Graduation / Post Graduate in Textile / Fashion
EXPERIENCE Minimum Experience - 4+ Years in retail industry with at least 4 years in Merchandising role or at least 1 year in an assistant buyer role. Buying - Ladies Footwear
