Generic Accountability :

• Support the business in developing and implementing strategies to grow the Islamic corporate and investment banking division, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding the division’s market share.
• Oversee the execution of financial transactions that comply with Islamic principles, including sharia-compliant financing, investment, and risk management techniques.
• Manage the financial performance of the division, including setting targets, monitoring progress, and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Lead and manage a team of professionals jointly with the department head, including setting performance goals, providing mentorship, and supporting employee performance evaluations.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and other financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to Islamic finance.
• Share responsibility in achieving the division’s financial targets.

The objective of the MD, Head of Islamic Coverage, Wholesale Banking, is to lead and manage the Islamic Wholesale Banking division of FAB Islamic. This involves developing and implementing strategies, overseeing Islamic-compliant financial transactions, and managing the division’s financial performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
• 10 years of relevant experience in banking, with at least 5 years in progressively responsible managerial roles within Corporate and Investment Banking.
