Primary Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and targets.
2. Monitor equipment, materials, and labor utilization to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
3. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production specifications.

1. Supervise, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve individual and team goals.
2. Provide ongoing training in safety, quality, and operational procedures.
3. Conduct performance evaluations, address performance issues, and foster professional development.

1. Ensure all products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
2. Work closely with quality control teams to identify and address quality issues promptly.
3. Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure consistent product quality.

1. Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.
2. Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
3. Ensure all team members adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements.

1. Optimize workflows, material usage, and resource allocation to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
2. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
3. Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for operational challenges.

1. Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, KPIs, and inventory data.
2. Analyze production data to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions.
3. Provide regular updates to management on operational performance and areas for improvement.

1. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
2. Schedule preventive maintenance and address equipment issues to minimize downtime.

1. Collaborate with planning, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and delivery of finished goods.
2. Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align on production goals and initiatives.

Minimum Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

1. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in adhesive, coating, or chemical production.
2. Proven track record of managing teams and achieving production goals.

3. Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools.
4. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and EHS regulations.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.

1. Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and industrial equipment.
2. Requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
3. May require working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet production demands.
