The Design Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the studio's design output, including project management, scheduling, team coordination, client relations, and administrative tasks. This role involves close collaboration with designers, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery, adherence to contracts, budget management, and maintaining the highest quality standards. Additionally, the Design Manager will take on projects as the Lead Designer, from inception to completion, including site supervision, utilising a team when required.
Success in this role requires extensive experience in luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial markets within the UAE, strong creative and management skills, and the ability to translate client briefs into exceptional designs. You must possess a proven history of successfully completed projects in Dubai, a well-established network of suppliers, and the ability to confidently manage and engage with third parties, contractors, and client expectations. Additionally, you have expertise in leading and managing a design team, ensuring timely deliverables, providing mentorship, and supporting team members' career development.
