AHS, a leader in luxury real estate development, is searching for a talented Design Manager – Structural to join our innovative engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to integrate structural solutions with architectural designs
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and durability of designs
- Review and approve detailed structural drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with construction teams to resolve any issues related to structural design during the construction phase
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design reports and construction details
- Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Stay current with advancements in structural engineering and construction methods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably within the luxury real estate sector
- Proven experience managing structural design projects from concept through completion
- Strong portfolio illustrating completed structural engineering projects
- Proficient in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD)
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and principles is a plus.
