Job summary

A premium aviation service provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Porter to deliver high standards of client service, ensuring efficient handling of baggage and associated services. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in an aviation setting, a High School Diploma, and strong communication skills in English. Responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, assisting customers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring hygiene standards while working effectively under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Porter in an Aviation environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient Porter services ensuring high standards.
• Handle customer and crew luggage according to procedures.
• Maintain hygiene and conduct tasks per schedule.
• Notify supervisor on any damages or deficits.
• Request materials and supplies as needed.

Job Purpose:

To provide efficient & effective Porter services ensuring high standards and client all task related to porter messenger services.

Operational Accountabilities:

• Baggage and material handling as instructed in line with safety regulation.
• Being punctual maintain hygiene and conducting the task as per schedule
• Handle Customer and Crew luggage to/from aircraft according to established handling procedures.
• Always ensure following airport authorities with regards to transfer /scanning of luggage protocols.
• Perform related services such as assisting the customer upon departure /arrival if necessary.
• Ensure standard service procedure are followed prior to pre-departure /arrival i.e. VIP Carpet set up.
• Use of P.P.E as and when required in line with safety policy.
• Ensuring all Equipment and material used are kept in clean condition for reuse.
• Maintain personal hygiene.
• Follow reporting procedures on work completion maintenance request and were lost and found.
• Plan and request materials and supplies for the required task.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may delegated anytime.
• Notify supervisor on any damages deficit and disturbances.
• Protecting equipment and making sure there were no inadequacies.
